About Kameron
Raised in Southern California, I grew up reading every book at my local library and enjoying fun days at the beach in the sun. Today, I am a lover of culture, travel and teaching. I have 6 years of experience in English education as a teacher and tutor and am a recent graduate of California State University's Master of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) in the field of linguistics. My background includes teaching English to grades K-12 and higher education, lesson plan and curriculum design, and providing student's with real-world lessons and activities. It is very important to me that I create a learning environment where students feel safe and comfortable being their true selves. When I am not teaching, I enjoy drinking tea, video gaming, writing novels and roller skating.

Learning is fun and rewarding, and in every class, it is my goal to give English learners the foundation they need in order to be more successful in their future endeavors. I do not like to rely on stringent textbooks and harsh teaching methods but rather to fluidly discover each students educational needs and wants and tailor exciting and effective tasks to improve one's understanding and use of English. Each 1st class is always dedicated to learning who the student is and what their individual needs are. Thereafter, I create personalized lesson plans that use real-world scenarios. Teaching is the most rewarding career imaginable, and I love to engage with English language learners in such a way that learning doesn't feel like learning - only fun.
