About Gemma
"Nervous beginners and exam candidates form the core of my studio practice. I have taught for 13 years. I address everything from scales and arpeggios to pedaling technique and music theory to ensure technical clarity.
My background as an Eastman graduate informs the way I coach rhythm, timing, and chord voicing. Correct posture and hand position are non-negotiable for me. I also integrate sight playing and sight reading into our regular work. You will reach your performance goals through this systematic approach."

"Clarity defines our time together. Diagnostic playing assessment before we set a learning plan is my standard requirement.
We spend 8 minutes of our 60 minute block on specific technical drills. I apply my 13 years of experience to solve mechanical issues. Eastman training dictates the rigor.
The work is direct. You will feel progress immediately."
