About Roslyn
"Music entered my world during early childhood and stayed anchored there throughout 13 years of dedicated performance. I focus on helping adult students refine their double stops and complex scales while maintaining the pure joy of playing. My training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama emphasises technical clarity alongside expressive growth for every student.
Helping you navigate shifting positions and intricate arpeggios is what I do best. Whether we are perfecting your vibrato or stabilising your intonation, my goal is to ensure you feel supported. "Picture the moment your bow finally draws a clear and resonant tone across the strings during our 9 minute warm-up exercise. Building a solid foundation requires patience with intonation and a focus on correct physical habits from the very start.
We incorporate ear training into every segment to ensure you hear the music before your fingers hit the fingerboard. Shifting positions often feels daunting, so we break these movements into manageable, rhythmic steps that build confidence quickly.
