About Chris
I am both a producer creating my own tracks and tracks for others using Ableton Live. When performing with my band Tryptonite I use Ableton Live for backing tracks in which I live tweak sounds as a DJ would and use Live's instruments during my livetronica shows. I have a broad musical palette and have been a music performer, student, and consumer of music since age six and enjoy genres covering funk, reggae, hip hop, jamband, Electronica, bluegrass, blues, jazz, and beyond. Some of my favorite performers that use Ableton Live and inspire me include Sound Tribe Sector Nine, The Floozies, Disco Biscuits, Big Gigantic, Pretty Lights, and Grammatik just to name a few.

Whether you are just beginning your journey with Ableton Live or already a user, my 15 years of experience can help you break through to where you need to be. Whether you are interested in making remixes, Mashup, original compositions, recording or backing tracks my years of trial and error will help jumpstart you to being proficient with the most used DAW in the industry. And it can be a steep learning curve but a rewarding one as this DAW's applications and effects are truly capable of producing sounds and applications that are truly unique. I will take the time to truly cater to your musical journey and put in my own extra time to make sure you are getting the best learning experience possible. I can also personally add to your tracks and provide guitar, bass, and synthesizers and provide instruction on those as well either at my home studio, your home, or virtually. Rates can be negotiated depending on the situation. I do this for the love of music and teaching and I don't want anyone who wants to take this learning journey with me to go without. Rates may need to be slightly adjusted due to travel costs but it would be calculated as a net 0 gain for myself. I am very easy to work with and want you as a student so let's talk if my prices are not feasible for you.
