About Amber
Hi! My name is Amber, and I am a behavioral health professional and graduate-level counselor-in-training with over four years of experience working in mental health, housing support, and behavioral intervention services.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Art Therapy, a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology, and I am currently completing my second Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while working in the field full-time. My background includes behavior intervention, crisis support, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and working directly with individuals and families navigating complex mental health needs.
I specialize in helping high school, college, and graduate students understand psychology and counseling concepts in a clear, practical way. I also provide support with research papers, APA formatting, case conceptualization, study skills, and exam preparation.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and collaborative. I break down difficult material into simple, real-world examples so students feel confident, not overwhelmed.
