About Vimarsh
Hello, I’m Vimarsh, an architect by profession and a Rubik’s Cube enthusiast at heart. My journey with cubes began back in 7th grade when my brother gifted me a 3x3 Rubik’s Cube for my birthday. That one gift sparked a lifelong curiosity. Since then, I’ve been exploring, collecting, and solving cubes, especially on my birthdays.
I enjoy diving into all kinds of variations, from the classic 2x2 and 3x3 to the massive 14x14, and from pyramid-shaped cubes to dodecahedrons. Today, my collection has grown to over 75 different cubes, including some of the most complex imported versions out there. Beyond just solving, I’ve also used cubes as a medium of art, creating portraits using over 500 standard 3x3 Rubik’s Cubes.
What draws me to cubes is the challenge, the thrill of solving intricate problems using geometric imagination and algorithmic thinking. It’s a blend of logic, pattern recognition, and creativity that I find endlessly fascinating.

Learn the “Why”, Not Just the “How”
In my sessions, I focus on teaching the Rubik’s Cube conceptually, not just step-by-step solutions. Once you truly understand how the cube works, you won’t need a guide again. You’ll become your own teacher, all you’ll need is practice and consistency.
I won’t promise that solving the cube will always feel exciting. Like any skill, it might get repetitive, but that’s where I come in. My goal is to make sure you stay consistent, build momentum, and eventually reach a point where solving becomes second nature, almost subconscious.
Each session is short and focused, typically 40-45 minutes. That’s the sweet spot before fatigue and boredom set in, especially when learning something new.
Once you're confident with the 3x3, I’ll guide you through more than 20 other cubes, from tiny 2x2s to massive 14x14s, and even unusual shapes like pyramids, dodecahedrons, and mirror cubes. The beauty is that most of them are based on the same foundation as the 3x3, just with added layers or twists.
And here’s a fun trivia: solving a cube blindfolded requires just four algorithms, while the beginner's method usually involves more than ten. It's all about learning the smart way.

I had a great experience learning to solve the 4×4 Rubik’s Cube with Vimarsh. In just 2 days, over a total of around 2 hours, I was able to successfully solve it something I didn’t think I could do so quickly!
Vimarsh was extremely patient and explained each step clearly, making even the more complex parts easy to understand. He was always supportive, attentive, and ensured I was comfortable before moving on to the next stage. His teaching approach is very effective and encouraging.
I highly recommend Vimarsh to anyone looking to learn Rubik’s Cube solving, whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your skills!I took lessons from Vimarsh for Rubik’s cube and trust me he’s a great Rubik’s cube solver and greater teacher. He solves each cube with passion and teaches us the cube with same amount of passion. I learnt 2*2, 3*3 and 4*4 cube in minimal seatings. Thank you for teaching me Rubik’s cube!! Now I can also flex it in front of my friends!!
We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful Rubik’s Cube teacher for our 7-year-old son. With incredible patience and dedication, he guided my child through each step, turning what seemed like a complex puzzle into something fun and exciting.
