About Sarah
I'm a Chinese teacher. You can call me Xiaochun, and my English name is Sarah. I graduated from Qingdao University with a major in Modern Chinese Language and Literature, and I have 8 years of experience in teaching Chinese. Over these 8 years, I have taught students from different countries and age groups. Whether you are a beginner who just starts learning Chinese or an advanced learner who wants to improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, I can design a suitable teaching plan according to your needs. I know many of you may find Chinese difficult at the beginning, such as mastering the tones or writing Chinese characters. But I will help you overcome these difficulties in interesting ways—like remembering tones through children's songs and memorizing Chinese characters by associating them with pictures, making Chinese learning easy and fun

With enriching experiences in teaching foreign students to learn Chinese for all levels, I always focus on combining knowledge with interaction and attracting the students’ interests in Chinese. I always tried my best to make fun classes with abundant tools and media to make students engaged in study.I’m familiar with multiple Chinese textbook systems and compose my teaching plan based on students’ needs.
I’m good at applying a variety of personalized teaching methods based on different requests and learning styles. I believe target learning is one of the most effective ways for language learning and I always set up tailored study plans and clear goals for our classes.
