About Yasmin

Graduating with a BM in Voice from Boston Conservatory at Berklee provided me with the technical foundation I use daily. I spent 13 years performing across NYC and on tour, which is where I learned what actually works in an audition room.

My teaching focuses on vocal health while maintaining a sharp ear for pitch and tone. You might find that my approach prioritizes solid technique and confident self-accompaniment above all else. This process has served me well throughout 11 years of coaching diverse voices. I lean into practical skills like diction, articulation, and belting without unnecessary fluff.

My background allows me to help hobbyists and pros alike navigate stage fear and complex harmony singing. We will spend time refining your sight singing and microphone technique to ensure you are ready for any performance setting.

About the lesson

Singing should feel like an athletic endeavor that remains entirely sustainable for your instrument. I utilize a personalized song list built around your specific range to keep the work relevant. We check your rhythm and phrasing against the demands of the actual music you want to sing. My 11 years of touring experience informs how I guide you through warm-up exercises and exam preparation.

It is incredibly rewarding to see students find their authentic sound during our time together. We address performance confidence by breaking down songs into manageable, technically sound pieces. You will gain a clear sense of structure that makes the practice process much more enjoyable. It is genuinely fun to see progress happen in real time.
