About Naomi
Are you struggling to bridge the gap between abstract sketches and functional 3D models? Teaching Solidworks for 13 years has shown me that even the most daunting technical concepts become manageable when broken down into logical steps. My background as an architecture graduate from the University of Michigan informs how I view spatial relationships and parametric design.
I guide university students, mechanical engineering majors, and hobbyist makers through the complexities of assembly design and mate constraints. Working engineers often find my approach to design for manufacturing particularly helpful for their daily projects. Helping first-year students move from confusion to competence remains the most rewarding part of my career.
