About Terry
I recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Data Science and Media Studies, but my passion for teaching started long before that. I have been actively tutoring math since I was in high school and continued to help my peers and younger students navigate complex subjects throughout my entire college career. Over the years, I have worked with students of all skill levels, which has taught me how to adapt my teaching methods to fit individual needs. I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and deeply committed to seeing my students succeed. Whether you need help grasping basic algebra or conquering advanced calculus, my extensive tutoring background ensures you are in highly capable hands.

Math doesn't have to be intimidating! With a rigorous degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley, I have spent years navigating high-level mathematics, and my goal is to make it accessible and engaging for high school students. I specialize in tutoring Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP Calculus. In our sessions, I prioritize patience, clear communication, and creating a low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am offering dedicated tutoring from now through the summer to help students catch up, get ahead, or prep for the fall semester before I begin my graduate program! I can also provide free exercises after the session.
