About Breanna

Hi, I'm Breanna — an incoming Electrical Engineering & Computer Science major at UC Berkeley! I've always had a passion for exploring math, from being placed in advanced classes since middle school to taking AP Calculus AB, BC, and Multivariable Calculus and earning an 800/800 on the SAT Math section. More than just learning math, however, I truly enjoy guiding others in understanding difficult concepts and becoming more confident in their abilities. How I see it, no one is "bad" at math — sometimes all it takes is the right support and a teaching style that fits how they learn best. From sophomore year of high school, I served as the lead of my school’s Peer Tutoring program, where I supported students across a variety of topics, from geometry to calculus, helping them build confidence and understanding along the way.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my mission is to tailor each lesson to my student's individual needs, learning style, and long-term goals. Whether you would like some guidance in your K–12 math classes or with preparing for the SAT, I focus on making each session clear, encouraging, and effective to help you reach your goals. I'll provide personalized reviews of key concepts and practice problems based on your current understanding and areas of focus so that each lesson is purposeful and aligned with your needs.
