About Alex
I am an incoming UC Berkeley Freshman, studying Aerospace Engineering. As I have just gone through High School Math, including AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics, as well as through Honors Physics and AP Chemistry, I am well prepared to teach you Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I graduated as the Valedictorian of my class, with First Honors every semester and multiple college awards for achievement in science. I have tutored students in Math, Science, as well as in liberal arts for the past 4 years, making me the perfect candidate to help you through your academic difficulties.

I specialize in targeting gaps in learning, assisting with homework, and helping students work through course material. In a typical lesson, I will teach a concept with which the student is struggling, guide the student through practice problems, trying to give as little help as possible to give the student confidence in their problem-solving ability, and finally, I give the student homework to solve and correct independently. I begin each subsequent lesson answering questions on the homework before introducing the new topic. My typical tutoring clientele is high school students. I teach high school mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as AP Chemistry.
