About Thomas Pierre Marie
I have started my second year at the University of California, Berkeley, and I am majoring in Astrophysics and Mathematics. I am taking the honors course for the Physics majors track and I have been doing exceptionally well in my Math courses.
I know high school mathematics classes well, whether it be Calculus, Algebra, Probability, etc…
Having gone through both the French and American system in high school, I have two perspectives that most other tutors do not have which has allowed me to deepen my understanding of notions. This means that I can explain most topics in different ways, which I have found very useful when it comes to tutoring. I routinely tutored in high school, which has made me competent at understanding where students struggle, and how I can help them build understanding.

My goal is to guide students towards solutions, so sessions would involve going over problems students have been struggling with, or helping them with exercises in their homework.
I'm familiar with the AP programs, the IB, and the French Baccalaureate, which I passed with highest honours at 18.2/20.
I got a 1570 SAT score on my SAT, and I can help you boost your score!
I have a year's worth of experience tutoring kids both very young and old. I am bilingual in French and English.
I am able to tutor high school and middle school students, especially in Math and Physics.
