About Nicole

I am Ms. Nicole, a multi-award-winning international singer, trilingual vocal coach, and performance mentor based in Greater Vancouver, with students across Canada, the USA, China, and beyond. ️

With over 25+ years of teaching and performance experience, I specialize in Pop, Rock, R&B, Contemporary, K-pop, Mandopop, Cantopop, J-pop, audition preparation, competition coaching, music exams, university entrance preparation, and artist development.

My background includes professional stage performances, extensive international competitions, events and productions, vocal training through Berklee College of Music, and Trinity College London Rock & Pop Voice with Distinction.

Over the years, I have worked with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced performers, helping them build stronger voices, greater confidence, and a more authentic stage presence.

I am also frequently invited as a competition judge and Special Guest Talent Recruiter for major international productions, media companies, TV productions, competitions, events, and shows, helping identify, evaluate, and recommend singers, dancers, actors, and models for performance and casting opportunities.

Throughout my career, both my students and I have achieved success across international music competitions, TV productions, talent agencies, music universities, live performances, social media platforms, and artist development pathways.

As a coach, I believe every singer has a unique voice and story. My goal is to help students understand their voice, strengthen their technique, build confidence, and become expressive, versatile, and stage-ready performers.

About the lesson

I offer premium private vocal coaching for students who are serious about improving their voice, performance skills, and artistic confidence!

My lessons focus on Pop, Rock, R&B, Contemporary, K-pop, Mandopop, Cantopop, J-pop, and more, along with audition preparation, competition coaching, music exams, university entrance preparation, and artist development.

Master Your Voice in 60 Minutes!

As a live stage performer with over 25+ years of international experience, I bring real performance insight into each lesson. Many of my students have gone on to achieve success in international music competitions and programs, TV productions and shows, talent agencies, live performances, music universities, social media platforms, and artist development pathways.

Each class is customized to the student’s voice, goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. Depending on the student’s needs, we may work on pitch accuracy, vocal range, vocal power, breath support, vibrato, runs/riffs, tone, stage confidence, song delivery, emotional expression, performance technique, and much more.

Unlike traditional classical or musical theater-focused training, my approach is built for modern singers who want to sound current, expressive, flexible, and stage-ready. My goal is to help students build confidence and develop into versatile, powerful singers with their own unique sound.

Students receive detailed vocal corrections, performance guidance, song interpretation coaching, and practical tools they can apply immediately.

I teach in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and I work with students from beginner to advanced levels, including young performers, competition singers, audition candidates, music exam students, university applicants, social media creators, and aspiring artists.

My students are actively developing their music, performance, social media, and artist pathways across Canada, the USA, China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, and beyond. ️

I was so surprised that she knew so many of the classic songs we loved from the 70s and 80s. She was very patient with us, and as seniors, sometimes we need a little more time to understand. Nicole always explains everything with kindness, detail, and patience, and she makes sure we truly understand before moving on.

My daughter and grandchildren also take lessons with her, and they always leave class happy, still singing in the car even after the lesson is finished!
