About Charlotte
I am a Berklee College of Music graduate, and have been mentoring other songwriters for 2 years. I graduated with a dual degree in Songwriting and Contemporary Writing & Production. I studied under the famous Pat Pattison, whose students include multiple Grammy-winner Gillian Welch, John Mayer, Tom Hambridge, Karmin, American Authors, Liz Longley, Greg Becker, Charlie Worsham, and many more.
I am currently still a working songwriter, with cuts on several artist' projects. I specify in pop writing but songwriting has no genre or boundaries.

I like to listen to your song, ask you what your needs are and address those, whether it be songwriting help or lyrical help. I feel strongly about songwriting and am very confident in my knowledge to help others with it. The key to songwriting is honesty, and I have the tools and techniques to help you harness it with your songs. It does not matter if you have only just started out, or if you've been writing for years; we are always learning. I will also help you with creating demos if needed.

Details
Cancellations need to be 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged in full. If I have to travel over 5 miles, you will be charged the cost of travel, otherwise it's waived. First free lesson is half an hour and acts more like a consultation where we talk about your goals and get to know each other. I will ask about your musical background and answer any questions you have about songwriting so you can get a sense of my teaching style. If you want to proceed with lessons after then we will do full hour lessons.
