About Zachary
I have consistently had over 20 students weekly. I have taught at 2 music shops for the time I have been in Boston, and work for a private in-home lesson company.
Students who practice and have weekly lessons with me have noticeable progress. Being a beginner can be stressful and intimidating. I very much understand and remember what it was like to be you learning for the first time at the piano. Remembering that helps me be a better teacher for you, and makes it a much easier environment to learn in.

I try to get inside your brain. Not in a weird way, but in a way that I can understand how you learn individually. I am very patient and teach kids as young as 4 and adults as old as 70. I will really try to teach you piano the way you learn it, at your pace. These lessons I teach are for beginners and intermediate levels. I teach classical, jazz, and salsa music. I do not teach the level of theory you would learn at Berklee or another music school, since I am still learning that myself. I can teach theory up until conservatory levels. We can meet at a library or cafe instead of your home or mine, if you need help with theory.
