About Monroe
Power chords define my early instruction. I prioritize solid technique. Reading sheet music becomes natural here.
Grade exam prep is a standard part of my 11 years of experience. I coach students through barre chords and complex music theory.
Blues progressions are a specialty. Improvisation and soloing remain core focuses for my students.
Strumming patterns develop through consistent practice. Having an Artist Diploma from Berklee College of Music informs my teaching. I aim for your stage debut.

Starting out feels daunting for most people. I felt that same hesitation years ago.
My sessions keep things practical and musical. I use my Berklee College of Music background to simplify guitar concepts.
We analyze barre chords and music theory. Strumming patterns get corrected immediately.
Improvisation gets integrated early. Blues progressions form the backbone of our work. My goal is to keep things audible and clear.
