About Ava
Standing in the wings of a theater before a national tour curtain rises, I learned how much vocal stamina matters. My Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Berklee College of Music grounds everything I teach in solid, classical mechanics. I spent 13 years transitioning my own sound into the contemporary world.
This dual perspective helps me guide singers through belting, mixing, and resonance without strain. You can expect a playful environment where your vocal health remains my primary concern.

Starting your first session involves a diagnostic vocal assessment so I can hear exactly how your instrument functions. We explore pitch control, sight singing, and vibrato while mapping out your unique head and chest voice transitions.
During our 10 minutes of initial warm-ups, I analyze your tone to create a roadmap for your goals. My background as an actor informs how we approach exam preparation or gigging stamina. Come prepared to sing something you enjoy and let us see where your voice wants to go.
