About Elliot
I am a committed Guitar tutor with 15+ years of tutoring experience and a genuine passion for education. I teach High School and College students and have successfully guided around 300-350 learners. This has been a major milestone in my career and has given me valuable opportunities to develop my teaching skills.
I believe every student can achieve progress with proper guidance and consistent effort. My role is to make learning easier, more enjoyable, and more motivating.
I start by understanding each student's current Guitar level and personal goals. My lessons cover chords, scales, rhythm, strumming, finger techniques, music theory, song learning, and performance skills. I explain each topic in manageable steps and provide practical exercises.
I encourage students to practice songs they enjoy because music should be a source of motivation and creativity. I want learners to understand that Guitar can be both a skill and a form of personal expression.
Teaching 300-350 students has been one of my most meaningful achievements. It has taught me to work with different personalities, learning speeds, and musical interests. This experience has made me more patient, adaptable, and confident as an educator.
The best part of teaching is seeing students achieve something they once found difficult. Their progress shows how dedication and encouragement can make a difference.
I encourage students to set achievable goals and practice regularly. I teach them that mistakes are natural and that improvement comes from learning what went wrong and trying again.
I also want students to develop skills that can help them beyond music. Guitar can teach discipline, patience, focus, creativity, perseverance, confidence, and independence.
My teaching philosophy is centered on progress and encouragement. I want students to feel proud of what they accomplish while staying motivated to improve.
My goal is to create a positive and inspiring learning experience for every student. I am proud of my journey so far and look forward to guiding many more High School and College students toward their musical goals.

My Guitar teaching methodology combines communication, adaptation to learning styles, real-life examples, and practical application. I aim to provide complete musical learning rather than focusing only on individual Guitar techniques.
I begin by communicating with students about their current Guitar level, goals, musical interests, and learning preferences. This helps me understand their needs and prepare suitable lessons.
I use Adaptation to Learning Styles through demonstrations, listening exercises, chord charts, written notes, repetition, and practical playing. I make difficult concepts easier by explaining them in simple steps.
I use Real-life Examples and Case Studies from songs, performances, bands, accompaniment, and songwriting. Students learn how chords, rhythm, scales, picking, strumming, and melodies are applied in real musical situations.
My Guitar lessons include chords, rhythm guitar, strumming, fingerstyle, picking, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance skills. Related subjects include Music Theory, Songwriting, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Music Appreciation, Basic Composition, and Music Performance.
I encourage students to combine technical practice with listening, creativity, and musical expression. I provide constructive feedback and clear practice activities.
My goal is to help students become complete and confident Guitar players who can understand music, play songs, perform, create their own ideas, and continue developing their skills independently.
