I’ve known Kaylan since college, and I’ve seen firsthand how naturally she carries herself when it comes to dance. Being around her, it’s hard not to notice how effortless she makes it look—and at some point I got tired of just watching while I stood there looking lost lolll, so I asked her to teach me. With her it never felt like a strict lesson, more like just vibing, learning as we go, and her casually pointing out small things I could fix that actually made a real difference.

Before I knew it, after a few weeks of just being around her, going out, and picking things up bit by bit, I went from overthinking every move to actually stepping into dance circles at parties with confidence. That’s what makes Kaylan special—she knows her craft, but more importantly, she knows how to bring people into it in a way that feels natural, fun, and real.

Kaylan gives her students room to grow and trust themselves as dancers. She picks amazing song selections, and her philosophy is that your body knows what to do—this is something I struggled with growing up. She will change how you view movement and invite stability on stage.

Kaylan is a great dance teacher - she knows her stuff and is very approachable with questions. I never felt stupid when I wasn’t “getting it”, she just showed me again what the correct move was supposed to be. I highly recommend her.

Kaylan is EXTREMELY patient with new dancers. Her classes aren't intimidating because she makes you feel so comfortable. She also knows how to adjust her lessons and moves to the dancer. She's excellent at picking up on your skill level and preference and adjusting to her client's strengths. The best part is watching her dance because she's soooo good and really inspires you to let loose.
