About Jimmy
I have been teaching after-school art for children ages 6-11 for two years. I have also taught independently with students of all ages. I have contemporary knowledge about art and how to show your work online. I believe all people can learn how to draw and paint by applying knowledge and practice. Creating art is a privilege and is the highest form of creation by human beings and can impact society in a positive way. I have shown my work in cafes and restaurants from all over Sacramento and Davis, California. I have sold thousands of dollars' worth of artworks. I have extensive knowledge in creating commissioned works and can teach my students how to advertise their work and get commissions.

I give in-depth lessons in drawing landscapes and portraits with pencil. I also give in-depth acrylic landscape painting lessons. Typical lessons include, design theory, composition, Perspective drawing, Shading, and acrylic painting. Included in the lessons are also color theory. We will have fun practicing painting landscapes. What sets me apart from other teachers of art, are, that I have 20 years of experience in drawing, painting and showing my work. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Sacramento State University. I graduated in 2022. I have won best in shows and have extensive knowledge about showing my artworks in online websites, like Artwanted.com. The lessons are for all levels of artists, from Children to adults who want to expand their knowledge about drawing, painting and art theory.
