About Acchu
I am an experienced violin tutor with 6 years of teaching and professional music experience, passionate about helping students grow as skilled, confident, and expressive musicians. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning foundational techniques to advanced performers preparing for recitals, exams, and competitions.
One of the most meaningful milestones of my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, technique, or stage confidence to performers capable of playing with technical precision, expression, and emotion.
My teaching emphasises strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also nurturing creativity, musical interpretation, and expression. I incorporate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to ensure students develop a complete understanding of music.
I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment. Teaching violin allows me to instil confidence, foster discipline, and cultivate a lifelong love of music.

I teach violin using a methodology centred on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, aiming to cultivate technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are personalised to the student’s abilities, goals, and learning style, balancing technical skill development with creative projects, improvisation, and performance practice.
Motivation is central to my approach. I guide students to set clear goals, monitor their progress, and celebrate accomplishments, fostering perseverance, self-confidence, and engagement. Communication ensures lessons are interactive and supportive, allowing students to ask questions, discuss challenges, and share ideas openly, creating a trusting and productive learning environment.
Creativity is integrated into every lesson. Students engage in improvisation, interpretation, and composition exercises to develop their personal artistic voice and connect emotionally with music. Integrity emphasises disciplined, responsible practice and respect for the craft, forming habits that support consistent growth and long-term success.
In addition to violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, giving students a well-rounded foundation in musicianship. This approach nurtures technical mastery, artistic expression, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
