Born and raised in Cuba, I am a passionate reader who loves meaningful conversations about books, poetry, and Latin culture. For me, language is a doorway into stories, identity, and history.

I enjoy exploring how literature reflects the richness of Latin America. Whether we’re analyzing a short poem, talking about a novel, or connecting themes to culture and travel, I love creating thoughtful, engaging discussions in Spanish.

About the lesson

¡Hola! I teach Spanish through culture, conversation, and real-life context. My lessons explore Latin American literature, music, poetry, travel destinations, and history while building strong speaking and comprehension skills.

We discover voices like Gabriel García Márquez and Pablo Neruda, listen to artists such as Celia Cruz, and connect language to vibrant places like Cartagena — all while practicing conversation from day one.

My approach is immersive, supportive, and personalized. I work with college students, adults, AP Spanish learners, heritage speakers, travelers, and professionals.
