About Patty
Teaching English involves more than grammar rules and textbooks. I rely on my 13 years of experience to guide adult learners and professionals.
My background includes a BFA Music Performance and TESOL from Concordia University. I also hold a CELTA certificate for formal language training. Newcomers often struggle to find their rhythm in a new culture.
Music serves as my anchor when helping students find their voices. I work with business travelers and students seeking fluency. My career has focused on supporting people as they navigate complex language barriers.

Language development functions much like learning to play an instrument. Before we start, I provide a diagnostic level test to assess your current standing. I apply my 13 years of experience to improve your conversational fluency and accent softening. We focus on phrasal verbs, writing skills, and reading comprehension to build your confidence.
