About Porter
Graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts gave me the foundation for 8 years of performing on tour and in NYC. Truth be told, I still get nervous before a big audition. My 13 years of work allow me to share what actually works in the room.
I focus on breathing control and belting technique for singers of all levels. We will refine your tone and resonance while cleaning up diction and articulation.
Managing stage fear is a huge part of our work. Pitch control and warm-up exercises are essential parts of our routine.
I also guide you through vibrato control and switching between head and chest voice. Mastering microphone technique is also important. Reach out if you want to discuss your voice.

Do you feel like you are struggling to find songs that actually fit your specific range? I build a personalized song list for every single student I coach.
Having been a performer for 13 years, I know exactly what casting directors look for in a track. My 10.0 score in coaching excellence reflects the rigor I bring to our time together.
We combine singing with piano self-accompaniment in the same space. I draw on my BFA training to ensure you sound your best.
You will learn to own the room. You will feel comfortable in your skin. You improve naturally as we work through the music. It just takes some time.
