About Marita

Many church band guitarists come to me feeling stuck and intimidated by the secular world. You might feel like you are missing the right vocabulary for rock or blues, but I fix that. I teach strumming patterns and fingerpicking while keeping things honest and real.

My method simplifies music theory and acoustic technique so you stop overthinking. Guitar should not be a chore.

I focus on electric technique and those tricky blues progressions you see in indie music. Let us move past the pressure and just play. See you soon.

Strings vibrate against the fretboard as we find your natural rhythm together. I do not run a scripted classroom because rigid plans kill creativity.

Expect me to pivot the moment you find a better path. My degree from USC Thornton helps me explain complex ideas simply.

Feedback happens in the moment. We strip away the intimidation factor. Theory becomes practical application for your favorite indie songs. You deserve a session where music actually feels fun.
