As a bilingual graduate of Linguistics and Asian Studies from the University of Auckland, and currently pursuing a Master of Design, I bring both academic rigor and creative flair to my Chinese tutoring sessions. With over 800,000 words published on a major Chinese fiction platform, I specialize in both academic and creative writing in Chinese. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a solid foundation, a high school student preparing for exams, or a fluent speaker hoping to enhance your writing and expression, I can tailor the lessons to your level and goals.

My teaching approach blends structured linguistic guidance with flexible, interest-driven exploration. I focus on building strong reading and writing skills through practical exercises, engaging discussions, and creative assignments. I am especially skilled in helping students express themselves authentically in Chinese, while also understanding deeper cultural and linguistic nuances.

Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes long, and can be adjusted depending on student needs. Classes are offered in person in Auckland or online for added flexibility. My lessons are suitable for learners of all levels, from school-age children to adult professionals.
