About Martina
Growing up in Bogotá gave me a cultural foundation that defines my approach to teaching. I have lived in the United States for 10 years now. This experience allows me to bridge the gap between heritage and current identity.
My 13 years of instruction cover grammar, pronunciation, and writing skills. You will also find that I emphasize accent and intonation while supporting reading comprehension and listening practice. It feels like returning home to your own language.

Silence is often where the most important language progress actually happens during our time together. I use my MA in Bilingual Education to structure these 10-minute segments.
My 13 years of experience ensure that we focus on clear grammar and pronunciation goals. You gain access to recorded listening drills for daily practice to improve your accent and intonation. These audio files assist with reading comprehension and listening practice outside of our calls. You build consistency at your own pace.
