About Marina
Hi! I'm Marina, a bilingual (English/Spanish) educator from Spain with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about helping children become confident, successful learners while creating a positive and encouraging environment where they feel supported every step of the way.
In addition to my classroom experience, I have served in several student leadership roles, including International Club President, STEM League Vice President, and Student Leadership Institute Ambassador. These experiences strengthened my communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while allowing me to mentor others and organize educational and community events. I have also been recognized on the Chancellor's Honor Roll and Provost's Honor Roll for my academic achievement and dedication.
I hold certifications in CPR/BLS, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient Care Technician, reflecting my commitment to safety, responsibility, and caring for others. My background also includes experience working with children of different ages and learning needs in both educational and childcare settings.
As a tutor, I strive to make learning engaging, personalized, and enjoyable. Whether your child needs support in reading, writing, math, homework, bilingual learning, or building confidence, I adapt every lesson to fit their individual learning style. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
