About Mya
I am TEFl certified, and am so excited to use what I learned to help you learn! I enjoy hikes, crafts, cooking, and many adventurous activities. I have experience in tutoring English to native Chinese speakers. That was a six month program where I was able to teach them about sports, hobbies,culture, and many other topics they prefer to learn about. Every goal starts with small steps and I believe that with practice and time, you can learn improve so much! I can’t wait to help you learn and get to know you!

I am patient and kind. My teaching style includes visualization, auditory, reading/writing, and repetition. I mainly focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, and how to have simple but useful conversations. I love to make my lessons fun, interactive, and plainly simple to help students obtain their knowledge.
