About Laetitia

I have been giving private English lessons for 8 years now to clients of very different ages: whether they are college or high school students in need of academic support, professionals seeking to improve their oral practice. or written English, or amateurs who just want to practice conversation. My mother is American, so I always heard and spoke English at home, growing up. In my studies, I also quickly developed a passion for linguistics, English was my favorite subject at school, and I chose the English specialty for my Literary Baccalaureate. After my Baccalaureate, I did a license in English LLCE (Language, Literature and Foreign Civilization) at the University Jean Moulin Lyon III, then continued my studies at the prestigious University College London (UCL). I lived and worked in London for 6 years which allowed me to further deepen my knowledge of the British language and culture.

About the lesson

I offer classes in person at your home (Paris intramuros), at my office, or online. In order to offer you tailor-made courses, I always carry out a review with you during the first session. We will discuss your expectations, your level, but also your interests in order to allow me to create more personal lessons, and more captivating for you. I really like suggesting films, books or series to my students, which they can watch in their free time, in order to discuss them together in English during our sessions. I choose them according to the interests of each student (sport, history, music, cuisine, cinema, travel, etc.). I find this a great way to practice writing and speaking on topics that interest you. I usually use Google Drive to share documents with you, so you can follow your progress. I offer support in the following areas: • Grammar and syntax • Homework and presentation help • Oral and written comprehension • Oral and written practice • Vocabulary enrichment • Reinforce your confidence in your English skills • Translation • Resume correction and cover letters See you soon!
