About Hannah
I am a recent graphic design graduate from the University of Leeds - using the skills garnered from this I will make the lesson plans engaging and more interesting than those found in revision guides. I grew up in the countryside with a German dad and an English mum. I have spoken German to my dad my entire life and have loved all the opportunities I have received due to my ability to speak two languages. I strongly believe having skills in more than one language is an attribute that can open more doors for you than you could imagine - it is for this reason, I am really keen to teach German and use my skill to help others.

My techniques vary student to student. In the past, I have tutored maths and would follow a more structured methodology based on what the student had been learning in school that week. With language, however, I will begin by finding out whether the student needs more work on speaking, writing or listening and base our lessons on that. The typical length of a lesson will be an hour and during that time the student will have the freedom to tell me what they would like to work on. Using GCSE frameworks, I will also ensure that, while the student is focusing on what they feel they need to work on, they also have the basics required for the GCSE exams.
