About Cedric

Hey guys! I'm Cédric. I grew up in the suburbs of Paris, as a French native with a diverse family background—my dad is French, and my mom is a mix of Spanish, Turkish, and American. Now, my parents live in the beautiful French Riviera near Cannes, where I visit every 6 months or so.
I’m currently a student at UPenn in Philadelphia, studying Mechanical Engineering and Robotics. Outside of academics, I love playing tennis, and I used to compete and teach kids. I’m also passionate about producing music on my laptop and DJing for fun.
My girlfriend, who’s Italian and also a Penn student, shares my love for adventure. Nature is a big part of my life too—I enjoy long walks, scuba diving, sailing, and anything that gets me outdoors.
Teaching French allows me to share my culture and experiences with others in a relaxed, engaging way!

As a bilingual French-American tutor, I provide personalized lessons tailored to each student's needs, whether they're beginners or more advanced. My teaching method combines grammar, vocabulary, conversation practice, and cultural insights to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. A typical lesson includes a review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, and real-life conversational practice. I use interactive techniques to keep students engaged and focused. What sets me apart is my firsthand experience in French culture and education, having graduated from a top-rated international high school in France with the highest honors. My lessons are suitable for students of all ages and levels, from school learners to adults looking to improve their French skills for personal or professional reasons.
