About Melany
Honesty first, this is my second time tutoring. I have worked with a 10 year old student from the French American School in San Francisco for two years before moving to Los Angeles this January. This experience was very rewarding for the both of us, and her level in French definitely improved, as well as her grades.
I have a bachelor degree in Marketing, but I have also studied Architecture and Management. I currently work part-time as a video game translator. I do love my language and I can't wait to help other students reach their goals !

From my own experience moving to the U.S with a beginner level in English, I realized that to master the target language, you absolutely need to practice oral comprehension and regular conversations. That's why I want to approach French with the students with targeted reading, oral tasks and exercices, and work to overcome their difficulties by giving them a personalized class every time. I will also give tips and tricks to further improve their writing and reading skills !
