About Mariko
I have been tutoring and giving lessons for about 2-3 years; after becoming a college student.
I probably have taught about 10 students whom all were interested in the language and culture. Giving them private lessons, it always made me happy to hear from them about their grade on their test and or progress. It really made me closer with the students and it left me a good feeling.

Hi, I am a senior at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. I major in psychology and minor in art.
Since pre-school, I have attended a Japanese Language School up to my senior year in high school and I am able to read, write, and speak Japanese fluently. I was born and raised in the United States so I can speak English as well; I am Bilingual so for who ever interested in learning the Japanese language and or English, I would gladly love to help out.
I can use drills and textbooks to help with the grammar structure as well as reading comprehension, and help with the pronunciation. I focus and work mainly with the beginner's level, but if anyone has a preference, I can also do that.
I would consider myself to be supportive and fun. I hope I can make a difference in someone so please feel free to contact me:)
