About Eli
¡Hola! My name is Elizabeth, I was born and raised in Mexico up until age 12, despite this I continued to speak and learn Spanish independently. Currently a sophomore in college seeking Bachelor's degree in Political Science. I have an advanced vocabulary and visit Mexico often to be updated on slang and visit family.

I have previously taught Spanish for free to complete community service hours. I like to pay special attention to translating phrases to their cultural context rather than direct translations; concentrating on examples from books, popular media, and social media. In my classes the main focus is conversational Spanish, meaning that I will be teaching how to speak with phrases a native speaker would use, explaining the conditions, tone, and social implications.
