About Junsong
I am currently a postgraduate student at SOAS, University of London. I have a strong academic background and experience supporting students as a teaching assistant in physics at a senior secondary school.
Through this experience, I developed the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and to support students with different learning needs. I am patient, responsible and well organised, and I take my teaching seriously.
As a bilingual speaker of Chinese and English, I am able to support both international and local students. I understand the challenges students face in Maths and Physics, and I aim to provide clear guidance, encouragement and structured support to help them make steady progress.

I offer online lessons in Maths, Physics and Chinese for GCSE students, beginners and international learners. My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students identify their difficulties and guiding them to find solutions independently, rather than simply giving answers.
During lessons, I first work with students to understand their learning problems and areas of confusion. I then guide them step by step to think through the questions, develop problem-solving skills and build confidence. When needed, I also suggest useful resources or further support to help their learning.
My approach combines clear explanations, practice with exam-style questions and personalised guidance based on each student’s level. As a patient and supportive tutor, I encourage students to ask questions and become more independent and confident learners.
