First, I set a fun, upbeat environment. Then, before officially beginning, I ask questions to get a baseline for where a student is at in their understanding. Never giving away answers, I guide students to think correctly about the answer. I do this so that students can gain lifelong skills to approaching, analyzing, and internalizing difficult texts.
I am a school curriculum developer who has been studying American politics, classical texts and liberal arts my whole life through. The curriculum I am developing is currently being tested at a private school in Las Vegas Nevada. Furthermore, I received awards at the national level for the work I did while in college. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in political science and a minor in communications.
