Hello! My name is Melisa. I am originally from Chile and currently living in New York City. I am a professional bilingual nanny, Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), tutor, and writer with a passion for education, languages, creativity, and child development.
I have completed more than 25 nanny and child development courses, and I am always continuing my education through new trainings to improve my skills and provide high-quality care and learning support for children.
As a bilingual tutor (Spanish/English), I support children with Spanish, language, reading, writing, math, science, and homework assistance. As a writer, I enjoy encouraging creativity, imagination, vocabulary development, and self-expression.
My experience as an NCS has helped me understand children’s developmental stages and the importance of patience, routines, emotional support, and personalized learning.
