About Leanne
I have taught reading to all grade levels 3rd-grade through 8th-grade. Most of my experience has been in the urban inner city area of Columbus, Ohio. There, I had up to 35 students in a classroom. Most of my students gain approximately 2 years academic growth

Teaching is more than just a career. It's not what I do, it's who I am, my calling. I believe that every student can learn, it's a matter of finding the right strategy in order to increase learning.
Student engagement and student interest is most important. Students must be valued, and must be the center of learning. I engages students by getting to know interests and applying interests to the subject matter.
Students who spend an entire academic year with me often improve more than one academic year in reading and/or math.
I believe in working students hard, with emphasizing the basics and then moving onto higher academic skills.

My rates are as follows:
$25 per hour, with first lesson free, booking in groups of 5 lessons at once, will get the 5th hour free.
Online lessons are $20 per hour.
Travel charges of $5 or more if more than 10 miles from my home or my school location.
