I actually started during sixth form when I was giving up free time to help younger students struggling in maths. Since then I have taught a catalogue of students all who have achieved excellent results over the years. I am very proud of my excellent track record of very happy students. I am genuinely passionate about tutoring and enjoy every second of teaching. About the lesson

I wasn’t some genius student. I wasn’t someone who could sit revising 24/7. I wasn’t someone who liked exams. Yet I still managed to achieve academic success and go on to study a degree in dentistry. Why am I telling you this? Is it to brag? No, of course not. But it’s to portray that whatever academic ability you think you may have or whatever your opinion is on school I 110% assure that you can still achieve academic success by approaching exams in the correct way. My lessons are specialised on how to succeed in exams – something which schools don’t teach. The subject content will be taught with simplicity by giving real life examples which students can relate to. The power of revision techniques are often overlooked hence I will be teaching efficient, successful revision methods such as spaced repetition and active recall. My teaching approach: > Productive, enjoyable lessons – being a young tutor I share many common interests with my students; some of these interests I integrate when explaining concepts to simplify the understanding > No question, no gain concept – I remember being too afraid to ask questions to my tutor and looking back it feels a bit like a waste. I always tell my students there is no such thing as an embarrassing question to ask because without asking you’ll never know. > Real exam questions – practice makes permanent ;) > 24/7 help – stuck on a homework question?
