About Ivonne
I could say my careers a tutor kickstarted at the age of 10, as I helped my younger siblings with their homework. It has been 5 years that I have professionally tutored students of various ages. I was a tutor throughout university and attained a supervisory position in my final year. I love tutoring because I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people from different cultural backgrounds sharing a common interest. I enjoy giving back through imparting information I have learned to other people and seeing them improve their understanding. I also enjoy tutoring French as well.

My approaches to tutoring involve engaging with the material using relatable examples and starting with the basics, leading up to complex applications of the questions. I have found that this develops critical thinking skills that enable students to tackle other questions methodically. The typical length of a session is 1 hour to ensure maximal learning is achieved before mental fatigue sets in. I have 5 years of experience in tutoring in person and online. My lessons can be modified for students preparing for their GCSE and A-Level examinations.
