About Rebecca
I am set to graduate summa cum laude in biochemistry and am currently completing a federal research internship, where I work on lab techniques that demand precision and patience, the same qualities I bring to tutoring.
Before this, I spent time as an ER scribe, which trained me to explain complex information clearly and stay calm under pressure.
I'm planning to apply to medical school, so I know firsthand what it takes to master tough science coursework and standardized material. I'm organized, reliable, and genuinely care about helping students build confidence, not just memorize answers. My goal is for every student to walk away actually understanding the material and feeling capable of tackling it on their own.

I tutor chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and high school and college math and science. My approach is to pinpoint exactly where the gap is, then build understanding from the ground up instead of relying on memorization, using real examples so concepts stick.
A typical lesson opens with a quick recap, moves into the day's topic with problems we work through together, and ends with practice you can do solo to lock it in.
What sets me apart is that I recently went through these courses myself, so I know how to break down dense material!
