About Justin
I am what could be considered a student of learning, or a lifelong student through my current experience as I am constantly returning to the field of study. Additionally, I love passing on what I have learned to others, so while it is only of recent that I have begun to consider what it might look like to become a teacher myself, I have a wealth of experiences helping others to learn both in my academic and personal endeavors. I was first recommended to be a tutor for chemistry after taking general chemistry in community college, in which I had gone so far as to make a practice exam for my fellow students to prepare for an upcoming exam in the class. I hope this snapshot from my experience can help convey my interest in helping others improve their understanding on topics that I have a firm grasp of.

As a tutor, I work to take an adaptive approach to each individual's needs by learning what helps each student's learning the most; as such lessons might start a little slower paced as I learn each individual's learning style. I combine this approach with practice aimed at helping with retention and offering insight into how to approach problem solving in new ways to increase comprehension. I can tailor my approach to a broad range of ages and experience levels in math, through general chemistry, and introductory biology.
