About Nathan
My name is Nathan, I am a Biochemistry student at the University of Bath who is keen to inspire students in Sciences and Maths and help them achieve better grades. I recently studied GCSEs and A levels myself, completing my GCSEs in 2023 and achieving 11x 9s and my A levels in 2025, achieving A*s in Chemistry and Biology and As in Mathematics and Classical Greek. I would love to help you improve in your subject and achieve the very best grades and to help you enjoy learning and develop a deeper interest in your subject.

I can teach using diagrams and explain topics step-by-step according to the exam board syllabus and by asking questions that can guide the student to better understand the topic. Lessons will typically be 1 hour, but I can be very flexible with timings and do whatever suits the student best. I can provide past paper questions, links to documents explaining topics and recommend textbooks. I have experience mentoring students for Chemistry A level at my sixth form college, helping them to understand concepts they struggle with and walking through questions with them. I can teach Maths, Chemistry and Biology for A level and GCSE as well as Physics for GCSE.
