My tutoring sessions focus on helping students build a deep, intuitive understanding of math and science concepts. I begin by reviewing their homework, guiding them through problem-solving step-by-step using an electronic writing pad on a shared screen (similar to Khan Academy-style videos). Together, we work through similar problems, reinforcing the material with a focus on first principles. I ask targeted questions to help students develop insights and grasp key concepts. With my background in scientific research and a PhD, I provide real-world context to motivate why methods are used, making the material more relevant and engaging.
Lessons are tailored to high school and college students, covering a range of math and science courses, from foundational topics (such as Algebra and Geometry) to more advanced subjects (Calculus, Differential Equations, Fluid Mechanics, etc.).
