I've been an active research scientist for the past 9 years, having had the great fortune to work on a wide range of projects, from laser-induced cancer therapy to brain-computer interfacing. The joy and fascination I get from science and its applications never fades, and I'd love to share this passion with anyone who wishes to learn.

In my opinion, the mark of complete understanding in any field is the ability to communicate and explain that understanding at an accessible level. This has been my aim, throughout my undergraduate education in Nanoscience, Physics, and Chemistry of Advanced Materials in Trinity College Dublin, and continuing through my PhD research in Biomedical Nanoscience and Neural Interfacing in Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I have taught these subjects at all levels for 7+ years, with a distinct emphasis on understanding, and on tying occasionally abstract concepts to fascinating real-world applications and problem-solving.
I have a deep passion for science and its applications, making practical impacts on people's lives and wellbeing. I wish to share this expertise and enthusiasm, whether for those facing upcoming exams, or those learning out of personal or professional curiosity.
Lessons are offered online and will last 50 minutes, and are available at all levels. Specific university-level courses will require my prior appraisal of the curriculum to ensure I can deliver appropriate instruction on the topic.
