About Tessa
I recently graduated from Imperial College London with a 2:1 in Biological Sciences. Alongside my degree I took additional courses in Advanced Economics and I currently work in a FoodTechnology start-up in the heart of London.
I have worked as a tutor for 8 years and during that time I have spent many hours tutoring approximately 50 pupils with ages ranging between 4 and 30, many of whom went on to achieve top grades in primary school, 11+,GCSE and A level, and high marks in university dissertations and examinations.
I am a friendly and relaxed tutor who nonetheless employs an analytical and tactical approach. This approach enables me to relate to my students and helps them to exceed their own expectations when it comes to exams.
To be the best tutor I can be I take great effort in organising my learning materials for each session by researching optimal learning methods which suit the student. I assess student abilities by recognising their strengths and weaknesses and monitor their ongoing performance to enable them to be the best they can be!
