Hi, my name is Alex and I am currently about to go into my second year of university studying biological sciences. In my free time I like to play tennis, badminton and go to the gym. I also enjoy going to watch football and tennis live.

With my new students I like to first of all ask them if there is any topics in particular they would like to go over and if not then I give them a mini assessment just to see what their current level of understanding is. In a regular lesson I would give them a starter question on the topic we are working on or a previous topic we have covered then I will explain a couple of examples and ask them similar questions to make sure they understand. After that I will set them some questions to do and give them a further few questions for homework to help consolidate the knowledge.
