About Elena
I started playing piano at the age of 7 and fell in love with music as I learned to play by ear and explore classical improvisation. I went on to attend conservatory in Badalona, Spain for oboe performance and music theory, where I also performed as an accompanist for soloists. I began teaching piano and oboe over ten years ago and I adore to see how students begin to share the same passion.
I have found joy in piano for over 22 years, and I especially love sharing that enthusiasm with students who need inspiration and encouragement as they grow through the levels.

My lessons are open to children with musical curiosity, adult beginners, and intermediate to early-advanced players who want support and structure as they work toward their musical goals. I focus on foundational listening exercises that help students grow as musicians, whether that means working toward a specific piece or developing the ability to become self-taught.
After our first lesson I develop a personalized lesson plan that carves out the most exciting and effective path for each individual learner.
I am bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) and have experience working with neurodivergent learners.
